UV DTF (UV Direct-to-Film) is a printing technology that produces durable stickers for hard surfaces. Unlike textile DTF for fabrics, UV DTF sticks cold, with no machine, onto glass, plastic, metal or wood.
How does it work?
The design is printed with UV inks onto a film, then covered with a transfer film. You peel the sticker, apply it to the object, press, then remove the film. The result is a crisp, water- and scratch-resistant sticker.
UV DTF or textile DTF?
Textile DTF is heat-applied to t-shirts and hoodies. UV DTF targets rigid objects: mugs, bottles, cases, glassware. They are two complementary technologies for two families of surfaces.
